  • Data Fix
A short promo concept for Data Fix. Why do we need a daily fix of data, is it the new drug we are yet to be aware of? What are the health warnings behind consumption of information through your connected devices? Can we see into the future for the long term effects of long hours connected to social networks and blogs? There are many schools of thought to be considered through research and analysis. We investigate.

  • Duke & Earl
Creative Agency Duke & Earl asked me to develop a set of ideas for their office window frontage looking onto Margaret St in Central London. They asked me to think about Duke & Earl as a forward thinking company, with 360 solutions, covering all media platforms. They also wanted something that looked cool, but reflects all their design.

  • Idents : Museum of Somerset
I created a set of idents for the Museum of Somerset's 'History of Somerset' exhibition. Three short films were played consecutively telling the individual stories of The Big Chill, Underwater World and Foundation Stones. These idents were essentially used as bumpers between the films.

  • A Brand In Motion
A Brand In Motion — the essence of the brand concept was based on 'transculturalism' and how the world is coming together through travel and communication. The purpose of the project was to develop a retail design concept through a brand extension while utilising mediums such as motion graphics, graphic design, alternative marketing channels and other forms. A research methodology framework led to the exploration of socio-cultural aspects, design issues and ultimately design development material.

A visual identity was then developed to represent the voice of transculturalism and how the world is coming together. My aim was to make the identity bold, spirited with an injection of vitality. I used the branding on printed t shirts and throughout my dissertation.

Films of people from transcultural backgrounds were recorded and edited to visually project in-store. A 'guerrilla' concept store was then set up in the basement of a disused building for one day, where screen printed t-shirts were projected onto using the transcultural film.

A 25,000 word dissertation was produced throughout the year as a documented research investigation and critique of the final design process from initial idea to a final concept. This project was submitted in partial fulfillment of the MA Design degree.
