#fortheoceans 'Parley for the Oceans' have evidently been putting in some hard yards to fight the global plastic pollution problem in our oceans. What they've achieved is hugely admirable. Parley for the Oceans say they "address the major threats towards our oceans, the most important ecosystem of our planet." (Parley.tv) They believe the power for change lies in the hands of the consumer – given he/she has a choice – they also state "the power to shape this new consumer mindset lies in the hands of the creative industries." (Parley.tv)

Reaching out to all corners of the globe Parley caught the attention of global fashion brands Adidas and G-Star and have been developing wearable plastic clothing and shoes recycled form our Oceans. Football super powers Real Madrid and Bayern München (pictured) have both adorned a plastic replica shirt this season to reach out to a global audience thus creating awareness of this ever present issue.

Saving one Whale at at time, I believe (from what I know) that Parley are a truly modern and forward thinking business collective who clearly have the interests of our planet at their core and are thinking in ways most of us should in an increasingly populated planet.
